TMI and Continuing Professional Development
The Tourism Management Institute is committed to supporting its members’ development as tourism destination management professionals. Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is central to its activities, such as the Annual Convention and Hot Topic Events.
TMI expects and acknowledges that its members are undertaking CPD. In developing these CPD pages, TMI aims to provide online resources to support members’ learning and development, as well as a place for you to record your CPD activity and gain recognition for your learning.
As a TMI member you can access various resources within this section such as reading lists, Destination Matters, the TMI CPD newsletter, and useful links. When these pages are fully developed, you will be able to record your own CPD activity and find a template to help you review your current skills and consider your future training needs.
Students can find out which courses have been recognised by TMI, and download the TMI’s guidelines on work placements. Higher Education providers can find out how to gain TMI recognition for their courses, and the benefits for them and their students.
