The Evolving Challenge of Destination Management in a Post-Pandemic World

Richard Veal, Managing Director Europe, heads up the European Divison of Simpleview Inc. based in Tucson, Arizona, with offices in Liverpool and Oslo. David Peacock is Senior Advisor, Future Tourism Group.

Peacock describes the Future Tourism Group as a vehicle for industry leaders to prioritize issues and participate in creating and beta-testing tools and processes to address them, with much of the work mirroring strategies he successfully developed for creating sustainable destination management networks, developing channels for distributed marketing and storytelling and strengthening stakeholder competencies.

Richard and David David will give their opening thoughts, highlighting examples of how DMOs around the world have been affected, and then open it up to attendees to discuss their own experiences.
